Club Members support the Portable Antiquities Scheme by submitting all finds over 300years old for evaluation and recording at the National Museum of Wales. These

items are then returned to the Finder - Unless the item is deemed to be Treasure under

the Treasure Act 1996, as amended, where, in brief, the item is valued by an Independent Committee at the British Museum and any money awarded is usually

shared 50-50 between the finder and Land Owner..

The Club has a forum which is only accessible to paid up members.
